Haunted Hotel Experience

 Haunted Hotel Experience

It was a seemingly ordinary day, and I had completed my routine tasks at home – brushing, bathing, having breakfast, and getting ready for work. I was fortunate to have the option to work from home, which I preferred, as I didn't want to lead the bustling life of Bangalore. Despite its beauty and charm, Bangalore had always felt like a place where people journeyed to earn and start anew. Nevertheless, due to work, I found myself back in my hometown, sitting at my desk, opening my laptop to begin my daily tasks.

The day progressed smoothly, and as usual, I attended the daily huddle at 5 pm. To my dismay, my manager informed me that I had to travel to Bangalore to meet a client. Although it was only for two days, I couldn't help but sigh at the thought of returning to the city. My manager, however, offered accommodation for those two days at a hotel near the client's location. Grudgingly, I agreed and began searching for a suitable hotel. After reading positive reviews, I booked a room and submitted the bill for reimbursement via the HR tool.

The next day, after receiving permission for an early logout, I had dinner and embarked on my journey back to Bangalore. With music playing in the background, I drifted off to sleep without realizing it. When I finally woke up, I found myself at Majestic, Bangalore's bustling transportation hub, around 6 am. Taking a cab, I reached the hotel near the client's office, where I checked in and rested for an hour before getting ready to meet the client.

The day went by in a blur of meetings and presentations, and I returned to the hotel by 5 pm, exhausted. After dinner, I retired early to catch up on much-needed sleep. However, what happened that night would forever haunt me, leaving me questioning the boundaries of reality and imagination.

In the dead of night, around 2 am, I woke up suddenly, feeling an eerie presence in the room. My heart pounded as I saw a woman in Lambani dress standing near my bed. I was frozen with fear, trying to convince myself that it was all just a bad dream. But as I opened my eyes again, she was still there, seemingly real, and utterly terrifying. I frantically turned on the bedside lamp, but to my horror, she vanished into thin air.

Shaking uncontrollably, I couldn't tell if what I experienced was real or a product of my imagination. I stayed awake the rest of the night, refusing to turn off the light, dreading the moment darkness enveloped the room. When morning finally arrived, I couldn't leave that hotel quickly enough. The memory of that encounter haunted me, and I still couldn't fathom whether it was a supernatural presence or just a product of my weary mind.

Terrified and perplexed, I share this unsettling encounter with the world, hoping to find some solace in knowing if others have experienced something similar. The lines between reality and the unknown were blurred that night, leaving me forever spooked by the events that transpired in that seemingly innocuous hotel room.

Kumkum and the Divine Wrath

This is a true story experienced by one of my cousins — something beyond explanation, something divine. My cousin owns a building with around six houses rented out to different families. Some time ago, a couple moved into one of these houses. Over the course of six months, they became quite close to my cousin’s family. Eventually, the couple had a baby, and everyone was happy for them. However, a few months after the birth, the wife began acting strangely. She would speak in an unusual manner, and her behavior started scaring her husband. Worried, he called my cousin for help. When my cousin arrived, she was shocked by what she saw — the woman's eyes were wide open, almost unnaturally, and she was saying things like, “Come and apply kumkum to me.” She had already put some kumkum on her forehead herself. At that moment, they realized something divine had taken over her — it seemed like a god had entered her body. She turned to her husband and said, “You promised me something but did...

Haunted Bicycle Ride

In the dimly lit room, I gathered my friends around, eager to share a chilling tale passed down from my grandfather. Before I recount his bone-chilling encounter, allow me to paint a picture of my dear grandfather—a joyful and talented man, skilled in music, capable of playing the flute, tabla, piano, and more. He was a maestro in dance, mastering the art of both Kathak and Bharatanatyam. Yet, amidst all his passions, one thing held a peculiar grip on his heart—fish. He couldn't bear a day without this aquatic delicacy; it had to accompany every meal, or he'd refuse to eat anything else. This eerie tale harks back some forty years, to a time when the world was a vastly different place. My grandfather resided in a quaint little village known as Kumta. In those days, the road leading to his home was a haunting path. No streetlights dared to pierce the darkness, and dense forests loomed ominously on either side. But things have changed drastically since then, as you'll soon se...
